What is Splat GellyBall?

GellyBall is the newest shooting sport on the scene, it is very similar to traditional shooting sports such as: Paintball and Airsoft. The difference is that GellyBall is Safer, More Fun, No Mess or Stains, Less Painfull, and Designed for ages 5 and up!

Is GellyBall safe?

Yes, Gellyball uses a polymer bead that when hydrated becomes a 8mm sized gel orb, unlike hard plastic BBs or hard paintballs that leave a mess to clean and stains clothing. With GellyBall upon impact shatters and leaves virtually zero residue, so no stains or mess. GellyBall is considered as ultra low impact which means less sting and less pain, so no broken skin or bruising. It is safe for the whole family ages 5 and up!

Does GellyBall leave a mess?

No, GellyBalls are made up of polymer crystals and water, they do not include paint, dyes, or propylene glycol like your common paintball / marker. GellyBalls when shot shatter into very tiny pieces on impact, leaving behind virtually zero residue. In some instances, depending on the play area surface such as smooth surfaces (Wood, Epoxy, Smooth concrete, and Tile flooring) will have a small amount of moisture left behind, under these conditions we recommended allowing the floor to dry for 12hrs. Generally after 12hrs, once the GellyBalls have had time to dehydrate they shrink to approximately the size of a grain of  salt, making clean up easy to blow, sweep, squeegee, or vacuum.

Does GellyBall hurt to play?

The GellyBall Blaster uses very low pressure to shoot, so it only feels like a good snap of a rubber band. But you’ll be having so much fun, you won’t even notice!

Do we have to sign a waiver to play?

Yes, waivers are required for all equipment and events through Live Oak Development LLC, DBA Splat GellyBall for adults, as well as minors and must signed before the start of the event. If the players are under the age of 18, they will need a waiver signed by either their parent or legal guardian in order to participate.

Rain Out Policy

If the weather starts before your party and we know that the party cannot be held at the outdoor course, you party may be rescheduled to a different date. If your party has already started and it begins to rain during your party, we will watch for severe weather and wait until weather passes to continue your party. If weather does not pass, you will be refunded in correlation with the amount of time that you have used in your party.
